Welcome to Desiderata Valley

As you may or may not know, I play The Sims 2...a lot. I've been playing The Drake family for quite a while and they are currently in their 4th generation! That is quite a feat for me so I decided to write up this blog to tell their impressive life stories.


It all started with Lucas and Angela -

A wonderful young couple with aspirations of starting a family. They moved into a house in the neighbourhood of Desiderata Valley. Lucas was a high school principal and Angela an executive chef. After several unsuccessful attempts at starting a family they decided to adopt so they rang up the adoption agency and the next day at 10am they received their first son, Ehron (pronounced Aaron).

After adopting Ehron they were much happier but after four sim years something was still missing and they decided that they would adopt again. So they rang up the adoption agency and the next day at 10am they received their twin daughters Katie and Carolyn.



The family was still far from complete and three sim years after they adopted Katie and Carolyn they decided to go for another adoption. So they rang up the adoption agency and the next day at 10am they received their fourth child, Nick. (It seems that I don't have any baby pictures of Nick but here is one of him as a child) 

Even with all of these children running around the house Angela and Lucas weren't finished and after four more sim years they rang up the adoption agency and the next day at 10am they adopted Emily (Seems that I also have no baby pics of Emily) 

You would think that five children would be enough for Lucas and Angela but they had always wanted a big family and it felt great to give all of these orphaned sim children a good home. Two sim years later they rang up the adoption agency and the next day at 10am they adopted Adam. (I don't even have any child pictures of Adam, I must've been really slacking, so here is a picture of teenage emokid Adam) 

They lived together as a big, happy family. Ehron moved out of the house as a teenager but I'll tell you all about that in his individual post. Seven sim years later Angela miraculously got pregnant!!

and gave birth to baby Christine! The Seventh and final child in the Drake family.

This ends the early years of The Drake family Legacy I will continue with individual posts for each of the second generation children and so on until I am fully up to date with the family and then I will go on from there with updates.

*NOTE* Lucas and Angela are now dead (Sad right?). They've been dead for a while but they lived to see most of their grandchildren.
