Chapter 5: OhMyGosh!

Adrienne Wilson, who has now officially changed her name to Aiden, spent her last days as a teenager on a trip to Takemizu Village. Oh right....She is now identifying as a boy so from now on I will refer to Aiden as male.

aaaanndddd Aiden moved away to University! He's living in a small dorm at La Fiesta Tech and will hopefully be meeting lots of new and interesting people...

Awww! <3 I love this sim. He declared a Psychology major at University and I'm thinking he'll become a Social Worker or something. Oh and in case you were wondering what Aiden's non-boobies look like... he's got some nice body hair going on n'est-pas? That's all for now unless you have any suggestion on a name for Aiden's future lover??

Chapter 4: Jobs! Jobs! Jobs!

As for Caleb and his fiancee, Wanda (lol Magic School Bus), they've setteled into their new home nicely and are super cute together...

Caleb accepted a job as a Personal Injury Attorney, lol oh Maxis....you so funny. Wanda got a job in the business career as a Senior Manager but was quickly promoted to Vice President. Here's a picture of them cuddling after a long day at work...

Chapter 3: Zooey Is Hot!

An update for Zooey, Jason and Germaine...

Zooey is lookin' hot these days -

She got a job as a Fact Checker for a newspaper but after she helped save the newspaper from printing an embarrassing mistake (this is actually part of the game...careers have "chance cards" that give you a situation and you choose between two courses of action, one with a positive outcome and one with a negative outcome.) she was promoted to Obituary Writer!

Jason got a job as a Family Law Attorney, lol! Can't you just see him as a TV judge a la Judge Joe Brown??

Chapter 2: Generation Four is Coming Along

Jason and Tanya's update is slightly more exciting. Little Mckenzie grew from a toddler to a child and I must say, what a cute kid! Looks like generation four is coming along nicely.

Chapter 1: Old People Are Boring

I realized something, elder sims are sooo boring! Ehron's update is pretty meagre...

Ehron and Chloe finally have the house to themselves since Germaine (Zooey's boyfriend's little brother) moved out and in with Zooey and Jordan. Since there isn't really much to do they pretty much go to work, come home and ... workout? Yeah they built a workout studio in where Zooey's room used to be. These oldies be pumpin' iron and that's about it...

March 19th Update

Hey ya'll my posts are unfortunately few and far between as I don't get much time to play The Sims while watching an almost two year old boy during the week. Anyway I do have an update or two for you...

The Drake-Larsons

A quick update for you about Emily, Diane and Bailey. Bailey redecorated her room and got herself a fancy new bed.

She invited her BFF Tristan over to see her new layout and to have a movie marathon...they watched three or four movies but I don't think Tristan was very interested in the movies...

Bailey also seemed to be spending a little more time with her parents...they sat down for a nice family dinner, something they haven't done in years.

The Drakes -

All is much the same with Adam Drake and his little family. Charlie started his first day of school and is enjoying it so far. Adam's wife Catherine aged up to Elder and retired from her job to help Adam out in his store full-time. The store has been semi-neglected since they had Charlie...it's surprisingly hard to keep up with a store and take care of a small child but all is well now that he has help. Other than that there's nothing new to share with you guys about Adam and his family... except a picture!

The Drake-Jones' -

Quite a bit went on at Christine's house. She redecorated, added a pool in the backyard & installed a sauna! Carson quit his job at Adam's store and took some courses to become an EMT and was quickly promoted to paramedic which is nice because Christine works days and he works nights so someone is always home with their young son, Thomas. Speaking of their children, the twins, Spencer and Evelyn aged up to teenagers and this time I took some pictures.

OH EM GEE

Oh my freaking god! I nearly died. I went to start my sims and it WOULDN'T EFFING START!!! I'd click on the icon on my desktop and it would pop up with the launcher (basically a fancy button that says which expansion/stuff packs you have and where you press play to start the game) but after I pressed play the game wouldn't start, the little hour glass would pop up for about 10 seconds and then nothing. I spent a good four hours freaking out and browsing the shit out of the internet then I finally stumbled upon a thread with tons of people complaining about the SAME problem! I scrolled down to the end after reading a few other suggestions and trying them without any results and the thread ended with a final suggestion and a single post that said something along the lines of "OMG THANK YOU THIS WORKED!! I COULD HUG YOU RIGHT NOW!!!!!!111" and I can see why they typed that now. IT DID WORK! So my sims are back up and running, thankfully, and I'm sure I'll be spending the entire day tomorrow playing.

March 13th Update

The Wilsons -

Chase, Carolyn and Adrienne took a three day trip to Twikki Island, the three of them thoroughly enjoyed themselves and returned relaxed and refreshed. However a day after they got back a burglar entered their house in the middle of the night and stole two expensive paintings. Adrienne heard the noise and woke up to call the cops but they arrived seconds too late and the burglar got away. The next day the family installed an alarm system. Adrienne has been chatting online lately and talking with college girls through email and on the phone. This has gotten her really excited for university so she applied for scholarships. She received the Sim City Scholar's Grant, a value of $1000 and the Hogan Award for Athletics, valued at $750. She also had a talk with her parents and they agreed to help her get started on hormones. Her jaw has widened out a little bit and she is officially started on her transition.

The Haggertys -

Some sad news today from the Haggerty family...their beloved dog, Zora, died of old age. The family is deeply saddened by the loss and their other dog Riley has been moping around the house. They buried her on the beach. In happier news Trevor was promoted and reached the top of the entertainment career, he is now an "Icon". Katie invited her twin sister Carolyn over for a girls day and they spent the day swimming, chatting and tanning.
James decided to have a party and invited Tristan, Bailey, Katy and Madison over for a pool party and bonfire. They spent the whole afternoon in the pool and then had dinner together before the bonfire.




When they were on the beach roasting marshmallows James almost got up the nerve to kiss Katy for the first time but he decided the timing wasn't right because everyone else was there.

Looks like there was something going on between Bailey and Tristan too...wink wink.













The Drakes -

Nick finished a novel, the third book in a trilogy he's been writing and it sold really well. Lauren got a $50,000 bonus at work for promoting an educational video game that helped Sim City's children raise their grades in algebra. Madison changed her look and is becoming a little bit more outgoing. She's been spending a lot of time with her cousin James lately, they've been going out and he's been coming over quite a bit.

In case you're wondering what they're doing, they're playing hackey sack or in simspeak kicky bag.

Mckenzie is a toddler so there isn't anything to say really...I don't even have a picture of her (she's cute though). I just wanted to post about my 4th generation of  THE DRAKE FAMILY :)

What can I say, Thomas is a baby...all he does is sleep and eat and poop. More to come when he gets a little older.

Spencer is rather shy and weary of his father Carson but Carson worked really hard and eventually won over Spencer's trust and although he may deny it Spencer is much happier to have a father in his life now.

Generation Three: Evelyn Drake

There isn't much to be said about child sims but Evelyn is really outgoing unlike her twin brother Spencer. Growing up without a father was hard on her but she was a lot more accepting when her father, Carson, came back into her life. She warmed up to him much faster than her brother did. Now that she knows who Carson is she is very affectionate.

Generation Three: Charlie Drake

Charlie has just grown up to a child so there isn't much I can tell you about him. He's going to have an interesting life ahead of him with such a young mother and a father who makes his money in the marijuana profession. He's an adorable ginger kid and he likes racecars. 

Generation Three: Bailey Larson

Bailey is the only child in the neighbourhood with same-sex parents but that doesn't effect her because that's what she's always known. Bailey's mothers have always been partiers and spent a lot of time drinking beers or smoking pot (but never when Bailey was around). Bailey herself isn't a partier at all and would always much rather hang out at home or at the mall with her close friends, Katy, Tristan, James and Madison. 

As she is getting older Bailey's friends are really important to her, she doesn't connect well with her mothers because she doesn't feel that they have anything in common. Although Bailey's parents have always been open with her about their pot smoking Bailey has never tried and doesn't plan on it. Bailey is a very creative girl and has aspiration of being a journalist. She doesn't watch much tv or play on the computer which isn't much like other teenage sims. She spends a lot of time either with Katy or Tristan who she is closest with. 

Katy is Bailey's best girl friend but there is a very strong connection between Bailey and Tristan. They have been very close since they were young children and they are still close as teenagers. Tristan's home life isn't the greatest and Bailey has taken it upon herself to be there for him whenever she can. She often invites him over after school so that he doesn't have to spend as much time at home. She is so comfortable around him and they spend most of their time just sitting around talking.  Bailey is currently a teenager and lives at home with her mothers in Desiderata Valley.  






*NOTE* In case you were dying of curiosty when I mentioned Tristan's home life. He is the child of a single mother who, when he was a child, moved in with her boyfriend. Now that Tristan is a teenager him and his now stepfather don't get along at all and Tristan's mom is pregnant...and there isn't enough room in the house for all of them.

Generation Three: Madison Drake

Madison has always been quiet which is such a change from the outgoing personalities of her parents. Her only friends are her cousins James and Bailey and their friends Tristan and Katy but she is definitely the fifth wheel. She doesn't plan on going to the same university as them but she hasn't told them yet, she wants to have a chance to make her own friends. Lately she has been rebelling more and more from her parents and only seems to want to get out of the house. 

Generation Three: James Haggerty

James was always a spoiled child because his parents were rich and he was an only child. When he was born his parents took a lot of time off of work to be with him all the time. Although he is the child of a famous actor and director James requested that his parents don't send him to private school because he wanted to be a "regular kid". It was at school that James met his best friend, Tristan, who he then introduced to his cousins, and friends, Bailey and Madison. 

James, Tristan, Madison, Bailey and her best friend Katy were friends all through childhood and continue to be friends to this day. James and Katy have a very good connection and although James would never tell anyone he has a big crush on her. 

James is a typical teenager and would much rather spend time with his friends than his parents. He can't wait to to to university so that he can be with his friends all the time. James currently lives at home with his parents in Desiderata Valley.

Generation Three: Adrienne Wilson

Adrienne is my favorite sim right now because 've invested a lot of time in her. A lot more time than I have in any other sim and I'll tell you why.  Adrienne is a transgender sim, the game doesn't allow this but I did everything in my power to make this happen. Right now Adrienne is female a female sim she is actually, and always has been, a male sim. When I made her I gave the male sim girly features. 

(If you look at the picture you'd just assume that Adrienne is a female sim.)

Sim toddlers and children have the same body shape so there is a lot of unisex clothing which was helpful to make Adrienne really look like a little girl but some of the stuff was obviously male like boxers for underwear, swim trunks and suits for formal wear. There's a super handy program that comes with the sims games called Bodyshop which allowed me to do all of the conversions.  I also was able to download a male ponytail and long straight hair style for her.  When all this was done I thought it was fine but I totally forgot about what would happen when she became a teenager. Male and female teens definitely don't have the same bodies, the main difference being breasts vs. no breasts, and I thought that teens are too young to be having gender reassignment surgeries. However, it wouldn't be uncommon for a transgender teenage female to bind her breasts every day and to wear boys clothing. 

(She's obviously a big tomboy but still looks fairly girly right?)

Most of the teenage clothes were easy except for the swimwear and the underwear because they were the only clothes that showed that she had a male chest. I took things into my own hands and created custom swimwear and underwear just for Adrienne. I figured that she would want to dress as much like a boy as she could so she would wear swim trunks but would wear a tank top on top...so I created this little number. 

(She's an older teen in this picture so she's gotten quite a bit more masculine) 

The other problem was the underwear because they would show her man-chest so I created an outfit that was boys briefs with her breast binding on top...I was really proud after I made that.

If you're curious her formal wear is jeans and a yellow and blue cardigan, her pjs are a purple tee shirt and a pair of grey plaid boxers and her outerwear is a retro looking vest over a sweater with snow pants. I'm going to go ahead and let you know a little bit about Adrienne future... When she goes to university she is going to have her top surgery (meaning she'll have her breasts removed and turned into pectorals) and she will be from then on known as Aiden. I even made a custom skintone for her that has small scars under the pecs. When she graduates university and becomes an adult then she'll have her bottom surgery and she will from then on be a he. 

Adrienne was adopted as a toddler by Carolyn and Chase Wilson and has always been just as much a part of the family as her older brother Caleb. Adrienne has been a tomboy since she was a child she would always prefer to wear boys clothes and play sports. As a teenager she is just as much of a tomboy she always felt uncomfortable with her body and continuously binds her breasts to make them go away. She has no girl friends and mostly hangs out with the boys at school, she plays on the boys soccer team. Although she is interested in women as a teen she doesn't date because she is too confused about her own life to bring someone else into it. She is currently in her late teens and lives at home in Desiderata Valley with her parents.

Generation Three: Caleb Wilson

Caleb was a shy and quiet child and teen, his parents sent him to private school and his only friend was his cousin, Zooey. You would typically find him in his room on his computer or playing chess by himself in the living room. He is very protective of his little sister, Adrienne, they have always been very close and he would always play soccer with her if she wanted.  

When he was in his late teens he met a girl named Wanda Lee at school and they started dating. Shortly after Caleb and Wanda left for university and ended up in the same residence as Zooey and Jordan. Caleb majored in Law (same as Jordan) and Wanda majored in Economics. After graduation Caleb proposed to Wanda and she accepted and they moved back to Desiderata Valley and in together...and that's where they are now. 

Generation Three: Zooey Ng

Zooey lived a fairly lonely life because her big brother moved out of the house when she was still young and her parents worked quite a bit. Her only friend was her cousin, Caleb, who is the same age as her. When Zooey was a teenager she and her parents moved into a house and Zooey had a big room of her own that gave her more freedom. She met a boy named Jordan Jackson who was going through a tough time, his mother had abandoned him and his young toddler brother and he was left to raise him.  Jordan introduced Zooey to smoking weed and she spent most of her free time doing just that with her giant hookah pipe that she bought from her uncle's store. 

She did well in school and helped her boyfriend, Jordan, to get through high school so that they could go to  university. Zooey's parents agreed to take in Jordan's little brother, Germaine, so that he could have the opportunity to go to university and Zooey and Jordan headed off to Sim State U. Zooey majored in journalism and Jordan majored in Law. After graduating Jordan and Zooey moved into their own house and Germaine moved back in with them and that's what's up with them right now. (I haven't taken any pics recently so you'll just have to hold on to your horses.)

Generation Three: Jason Ng

Jason was pretty much an average kid and teen he wasn't very sporty but would accompany his parents on jogs a lot of the time. He would usually prefer to browse the internet for science related things. Jason's parents made sure that he went to university because they never had the opportunity. Most of my sims go to Sim State University but Jason's parents wanted the best for him and sent him to the prestigious, Académie Le Tour. He majored in Education and graduated with honours. After graduation he moved into an apartment with two roommates and quickly got a job as a high school science teacher. While at work he met a young woman named Tanya Roberts and they hit it off right away. Jason asked Tanya (and her cat, Dusty) to move in to his room with him while they saved up to get married and to get their own place. Jason proposed to Tanya and they prepared a wedding. They had everyone in the family over to the apartment for the big day and tied the knot. 

After the wedding Tanya lived with Jason and his roommates for a while while the saved up for their own place. Finally they decided that it was time to move out and start a family so they moved into their own place (coincidentally it is the same apartment that Jason grew up in) and Tanya became pregnant. (This was really exciting for me because it was my 1st 4th gen baby) Tanya gave birth to a baby girl that they named Mckenzie.

Currently the three of them live in their apartment and Mckenzie is a toddler.

Generation Two: Christine Drake

Christine is the baby of the family and was always treated as such. She was her parents' pride and joy because she was the only child in the family that was born of them.  Because Christine was so much younger than the rest of her siblings she spent a lot of time as an only child after the rest of the kids had moved out of the house. Christine was a very sporty child and teenager and spent a lot of her time playing soccer or basketball alone or with her father (when he could keep up, he was pretty old for most of her life). In her teens Christine got a job as a security guard and decided that she wanted to pursue a career in law enforcement. When she was in her late teens she was introduced to a boy named Carson Jones who worked for her brother Adam in his head shop.  Christine was a bit of a flirt and sort of easy (just like her sister Katie) and ended up getting pregnant by Carson. She gave birth to fraternal twins, a boy named Spencer and a girl named Evelyn. 

The twins were the pride and joy of Lucas and Angela because they were the only grandchildren they had who lived in the house with them. 

Christine was lucky to be living with her parents they did a lot of babysitting for her during the day (they were retired by then) so she could continue with work and take classes at police college. Christine continued to see Carson on and off and he made some efforts to be a good father by coming to visit his children on occasion. After Angela and Lucas passed away Christine was left the house in their will and she continues to live there now. One day after calling her boy toy, Carson, over for a routine booty call Christine decided to get serious with him and ask him to move in with her. 
Carson, who had been wanting to get to know his two children better and be there for them, happily accepted. Turns out that day Christine and Carson conceived a third child and Christine became pregnant again. 
During Christine's pregnancy Carson made a huge effort to connect with Spencer and Evelyn by spending a lot of time with them. The twins eventually warmed up to him and accepted Carson into their lives as their father. Christine finally gave birth to a baby boy who she named, Thomas. Currently Christine, Carson, Spencer, Evelyn & Thomas live in their house in  Desiderata valley. The Twins are children and Thomas is still a baby. Spencer and Thomas will also continue on the Drake last name along with their cousin, Charlie. 

Generation Two: Adam Drake

Adam was a typical child, the youngest of the family for a long while (before Christine was born). He got along really well with his older sister Emily. As a teen and young adult his signature was his long red hair and facial piercings (which his parents didn't like very much). He was a Mr. Fix it around the house, repairing showers, sinks, tubs, computers, dishwashers etc. when they needed it and he even restored a car for himself. In university he majored in business management and fell in love with one of his Professors. Professor Catherine, an aging hippie, was excited at the prospect of dating a younger man (she's only about 8 sim years older than he is) and agreed to go out with Adam. After university Adam moved back to Desiderata Valley and opened his own head shop which, to this day, is very successful. (He also makes a lot of money under the table running a marijuana grow op in the back of his store) He continued to see Catherine and eventually asked her to move in and marry him she agreed and moved in to his apartment above his store. Catherine had always wanted a family and because she was "getting older" Adam and her starting trying to get pregnant. Unfortunately it wasn't easy for them and Catherine suffered three miscarriages before finally giving birth to a baby boy they named Charlie. 

After becoming a father Adam decided to cut off his hair as an official sign of adulthood. Charlie is the first boy to be born with the Drake last name so he is my first legacy baby! Charlie is also an adorable ginger just like his daddy. Currently the three of them live in the apartment above the store and Charlie is now a child. Adam is sporting a new retro look that drives his wife (and all the other gals) crazy. 

Generation Two: Emily Drake

Emily was a bit of a loner growing up. She was quite a bit younger than her older siblings and didn't connect with them as much but she did, however, connect well with her younger brother, Adam, who was only two sim years younger than her. A real techie She spent most of her time gaming on her computer. She always wanted to show that she was an individual and wasn't like her older siblings. When Emily was a teenager she decided, against her parents' wishes to get a tattoo. At first she just got a small one on the inside of her left wrist but she wasn't satisfied so she got a second tattoo on her right shoulder.

When Emily was in her late teens her older siblings had moved out and things were a lot calmer around the house, which Emily enjoyed.

She followed in the footsteps of her older siblings and went away to University. She majored in video game design and hung around with the design crowd. Which was where she met a wonderful woman majoring in graphic design named Diane Larson. Emily had never really considered her sexuality before because she never dated or had many friends. Diane was a lesbian and Emily fell for her as they became friends. The two of them eventually moved in together to a house on residence and Diane introduced Emily to marijuana and parties. Emily and Diane were in love and they moved in together after university. They got themselves some fur babies in the form of a dog and two cats, Rookie, Bella and Rupert. Emily decided to add on to her shoulder tattoo and turn it into a full sleeve.
They concentrated on their careers and made some extra money on the side by growing a few marijuana plants. Eventually they decided on starting a family and Diane volunteered to carry the baby, so they went to a fertility clinic and Diane was successfully inseminated. After the whole pregnancy thing Diane gave birth to a baby girl they named Bailey (named after my real life friend Bailey).

They built a second story for their house so that Bailey would have lots of room to grow. Currently Bailey is a teenager (the same age as her cousins James and Madison) and the three of them live in their house in Desiderata Valley. More about Bailey in the 3rd gen posts...

Generation Two: Nick Drake

Nick was a very friendly child, he got along very well with all of his siblings. He was very popular as a teen and was always inviting over or going out with a close group of friends. He, like his sisters before him, went away to university and majored in literature. It was in university that he met, Lauren, a Sim State U Llama cheerleader and Education major. He was taken with her beauty and asked her out on a date. The two of them dated exclusively for all four years of university and in their last year Nick took Lauren out for a nice dinner and proposed to her. 

She, of course, accepted and they graduated together and moved into an apartment close to the one that his older brother Ehron, sister-in-law Chloe and nephew Jason were living at the time. Nick and Lauren lived in that apartment while the worked up in the career world. Nick did a lot of odd jobs in the literary world all the while working on a novel that would put him on the map. Lauren was working as a high school teacher at that time. After Nick sold his first novel (it did okay) they used the proceeds to buy themselves a home and some pets. Nick wanted a dog so he brought home Bandit but Lauren wanted a cat so the next day she went to the pet store and bought herself a cat which she named Marshmallow. Once they were settled in their home they decided to start a family and Lauren became pregnant. 

After being sim pregnant for however many days...Lauren gave birth to their first and only child, a daughter who they named, Madison. Madison grew up a very quiet child who would much rather spend her time at home with her parents. 
Nick wrote more and more novels and eventually became a bestselling author and then a Simlitzer Prize winner. Lauren worked her way up through the education career ranks becoming a high school principal, a university guest lecturer, university professor etc. and is currently the Sim City Education Minister. Madison is currently a teenager (the same age as her cousin James) and the three of them live in their house in Desiderata Valley.
